Today 447 nuclear reactors are operating in 34 countries, 402.9 GWe net, with 84 under construction.

Compared with 2025, the operating fleet shrank by 12 reactors. No new reactor was connected to the grid that year. The countries with the most operating capacity are United States (99,186 MWe), France (63,041 MWe) and China (57,138 MWe).
