Today 443 nuclear reactors are operating in 32 countries, 401.2 GWe net, with 80 under construction. 3 of those units are not included in the net capacity because no net figure has been published for them.

Compared with 2025, the operating fleet grew by 6 reactors. 4 reactors were connected to the grid that year, 4,440 MWe, mostly in China (4). The countries with the most operating capacity are United States (96,952 MWe), France (63,000 MWe) and China (60,928 MWe).
