Linglong One (ACP100)
In commissioningThe world's first commercial land-based SMR: a 125 MWe integral PWR in Hainan, in commissioning.
CNNC's ACP100 is a 385 MWt, 125 MWe integral PWR with steam generators inside the vessel and pumps coupled to it. Construction at Changjiang, Hainan, began in July 2021; cold testing was completed in October 2025 and commercial operation is expected in 2026.
It was the first SMR to pass the IAEA safety review, in 2016. Besides electricity, it is proposed for district heating, desalination and industrial steam.
