Bushehr 1, a 915 MWe PWR (VVER-1000 (V-446)), started construction in 1975, was connected to the grid in 2011 and is still operating, with a 80.1% load factor in 2024.
Bushehr 2, a 974 MWe PWR (VVER-1000 (V-528)), has been under construction since 2019, with grid connection expected in 2029.
