1. Who is responsible

FC Technology, LLC, a limited liability company organized under the laws of Delaware, United States, operates Reactor Atlas and is responsible for the personal information described here. Contact the Company using the email at the end of this policy.

This policy covers the website and its newsletters, alerts, contact channels and related account features where available. Linked websites and independently operated providers have their own privacy notices.

2. Information we process

You can browse the atlas without an account, but visits still involve technical information. We collect information you provide, information generated through your use of the Service, and technical information supplied by hosting, email and other service providers.

  • Contact and subscription information: email address, language, requested subscriptions and filters, confirmation and unsubscribe records, and delivery history. Optional profile fields may include your role, organization and interests.
  • Messages: the content of a question, correction or feedback, the email you provide and the page or facility concerned.
  • Request context: IP address and proxy chain; approximate location derived from IP, including country, region, city, postal area and coordinates where supplied; browser, operating system, language, time zone, referring page and campaign parameters.
  • Device and usage information: pages visited and interactions, timestamps, browser identifiers and, when submitted with forms, screen and viewport dimensions, device capabilities, connection information and display preferences.
  • Product analytics: where you allow it, we capture how the interface is used — clicks, scrolling and navigation between pages — and can review those sessions to find and fix problems. Form fields and email addresses are masked and are not captured, internal pages are excluded, and a signed-in person is identified by a hash of the email rather than the email itself.
  • Account information: verified email, name, sign-in provider, sessions, workspace memberships, saved views, alert settings and consent records are stored on our servers. Google sign-in supplies the identity information authorized in its consent screen. Billing records include Stripe customer and subscription identifiers and status; card details are entered in Stripe, not stored by Reactor Atlas. Your browser keeps preferences and temporarily holds an unfinished save or sign-in request.

3. Purposes and legal grounds

We use information to provide requested features and communications, respond to requests, maintain preferences, record confirmation and withdrawal, troubleshoot problems, protect the Service against misuse and understand how it is used.

Where a legal basis is required, requested service provision and account administration rely on performance of a contract or steps requested before a contract; optional newsletters and marketing rely on consent; security, support and abuse prevention rely on our legitimate interests, balanced against your rights; and records required by law rely on legal obligations. Analytics and device storage require consent where applicable law requires it. Use of this website is not blanket consent to optional processing.

You may withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing. Providing optional profile information is voluntary. Without an email we cannot deliver requested messages or respond by email. We do not use personal information to make solely automated decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects.

4. Providers and disclosures

Depending on the feature used, information is handled by Vercel for hosting, delivery, technical logs and web analytics; Neon for database storage; Google for optional social sign-in; Stripe for optional payments and billing; Resend for email delivery; Google Analytics and a product-analytics provider for audience measurement and product analytics; and Slack for internal notifications about requests, subscriptions and feedback. Internal notifications may include the email, submitted message and approximate origin of a request.

When a map requests tiles or terrain, your browser communicates with map infrastructure such as OpenFreeMap and Amazon Web Services. Those services receive connection information including your IP address. Opening an external source sends a request to that source, which operates under its own notice.

Access within our organization is for operational purposes. We may disclose information to professional advisers, authorities where legally required, or parties involved in a corporate transaction subject to applicable protections and notice requirements. We do not sell or share personal information, as those terms are defined by applicable privacy laws, or provide customer lists to advertisers. Google’s handling of analytics information is also governed by its terms and configuration; a technical identifier is not necessarily anonymous.

5. Cookies, browser storage and analytics

The language cookie ra-lang lasts up to one year. Browser storage remembers display settings, entered email where offered, workspace preferences and the analytics opt-out flag va-disable until you clear it. Authenticated workspace data is stored on the server. The essential reactor_atlas_account session cookie lasts up to seven days, renews with use, and is invalidated when you sign out. One-time sign-in codes expire after five minutes. An unfinished sign-in or save request is held temporarily for the current browser tab.

On the public website, Google Analytics uses cookies such as _ga and _ga_* (normally up to two years, subject to provider settings and browser limits). Vercel Web Analytics does not use persistent analytics cookies. These analytics integrations are enabled on reactoratlas.com, not on local or preview domains. First-party conversion measurement records access and checkout steps with a random identifier held for the browser tab, campaign tags and the referring domain. It does not store your email, IP address or full referring URL in conversion events. Confirmed payments are recorded on the server for billing and conversion counts.

Audience measurement and product analytics are not loaded until you allow them. The banner offers accepting everything, keeping only the strictly necessary, and choosing category by category, with the same weight, and it never treats silence as permission. Your choice, its date and version are stored in this browser, and you can change it at any time from the Cookies link in the footer. Global Privacy Control, where your browser sends it, is honoured as a refusal.

You can also disable the site’s Google, Vercel and first-party browser analytics integrations for this browser with the control below, or by opening the public website with ?noanalytics=1. This choice prevents subsequent loading by the site; it does not undo information already sent or remove existing third-party cookies. Clear those in your browser settings. The preference is specific to the browser and origin, and must be repeated if storage is cleared.

6. Retention and deletion

We retain subscription and account information while needed to provide requested features. When you unsubscribe, delivery stops for that subscription; unsubscribe, consent and delivery records may remain to honor your choices, address disputes and meet legal requirements. Unsubscribing is not the same as deleting all records.

Retention depends on the purpose, the type of information, security and legal requirements, and the need to resolve a request or dispute. We review deletion requests against those purposes. Some records may need to be retained by law or for the establishment or defence of legal claims. Backup copies and provider records may follow separate retention cycles. We do not promise immediate erasure from all systems.

7. International processing and security

The Company is based in the United States and the Service may be administered from Argentina. Providers may process information in the United States or other countries, whose protections may differ from those where you live. Where applicable law requires safeguards for a transfer, the appropriate legal mechanism must apply. You can contact us for information about safeguards relevant to your data.

We use technical and organizational measures intended to protect information against unauthorized access, loss and misuse. No online service is completely secure. Avoid including confidential, sensitive or restricted information in feedback, source reports or ordinary email.

8. Your choices and rights

Use the unsubscribe link to stop a newsletter or alert. To request access, correction, deletion, a copy, restriction or objection to processing, withdrawal of consent, or an applicable opt-out, contact us at the email below and identify the account or address concerned. An authorized representative may contact us where the law permits.

Rights depend on your location and the law that applies. We may request information reasonably needed to verify identity or authority, and will explain any refusal or limitation and any available appeal process. We respond within applicable statutory periods. We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

If you are in the EEA or United Kingdom, you may complain to the competent data protection authority. In Argentina, you may contact the Agencia de Acceso a la Información Pública. In applicable U.S. jurisdictions, you may contact the relevant state authority and request review of our response. An appeal may be sent to the same contact with “Privacy appeal” in the subject.

9. Children

The Service is intended for a general and professional audience, and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly request personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us so we can review and remove it as appropriate. Account eligibility is separately described in the terms of use.

10. Changes to this policy

The date at the top identifies this version. We will give prominent notice of material changes, or contact you where appropriate, before the changes take effect where required by law. New consent will be requested when required. We will not treat an update to this policy as permission for an incompatible new use of previously collected data.

11. Contact and requests

Address privacy questions and requests to FC Technology, LLC using the email below. Include “Reactor Atlas privacy” in the subject and describe your request. Do not send passwords, access tokens, identity documents or other sensitive information unless specifically requested through an appropriate channel.
