Bilibino's EGP-6
Four 12 MWe graphite mini-reactors in the Russian Arctic, the smallest in the world fleet.
Bilibino, in Chukotka, operated four 12 MWe EGP-6 units from 1974, graphite-moderated boiling-water reactors that also heated the mining town. They are the only case of power reactors on permafrost.
Two units closed in 2019 and 2022, replaced by the floating plant Akademik Lomonosov. The remaining ones close when the land-based RITM-200s come online.
