Multipurpose Research Reactor, a research reactor (pool) in Da Lat, Vietnam, with 15 MW of thermal power, operated by Viet Nam Atomic Energy Institute (VINATOM). Planned.
Once in operation it will be the most powerful research reactor in Vietnam, ahead of the 1 operating today. 48 pool-type reactors remain in operation today across 28 countries. Its declared uses include isotope production, neutron scattering, transmutation and teaching.
