Dalat Research Reactor
Dalat Research Reactor, a research reactor (pool) in Dalat, Vietnam, with 500 kW of thermal power, operated by Dalat Nuclear Research Institute. Operating, first critical in 1963.
It is the only research reactor operating in Vietnam today. It is one of 48 pool-type reactors operating worldwide, spread across 28 countries. Its declared uses include isotope production, transmutation, gemstone irradiation and teaching. It has been 63 years since its first criticality.
