RB, a research reactor (heavy water) in Belgrade, Serbia, operated by INSTITUTE OF NUCLEAR SCIENCES "VINCA"/Centre for NT&R. Temporary shutdown, first critical in 1958.
It is the only research reactor operating in Serbia today; the country has shut down one other. It was the first research reactor in Serbia to go critical and is still operating 68 years later. It is one of 10 heavy-water research reactors operating worldwide, spread across 7 countries. Its declared uses include teaching, training and activation analysis.
