PALLAS

PALLAS, a research reactor (pool) in Petten, Netherlands, with 55 MW of thermal power, operated by NRG PALLAS. Under construction, first critical in 2031.

Once in operation it will be the most powerful research reactor in the Netherlands, ahead of the 3 operating today. It went critical 71 years after the first research reactor in the Netherlands, LFR (1960). 48 pool-type reactors remain in operation today across 28 countries. It is one of 9 research reactors in 7 countries that INVAP designed or built.
