Thermal RR, a research reactor (pool) in Visakhapatnam, India, with 125 MW of thermal power, operated by BARC Visakhapatnam. Planned.
Once in operation it will be the most powerful research reactor in India, ahead of the 5 operating today. 48 pool-type reactors remain in operation today across 28 countries. Its declared uses include isotope production, neutron radiography, activation analysis and innovative research.
