RSG-GAS
RSG-GAS, a materials test reactor (MTR) in Serpong, Indonesia, with 30 MW of thermal power, operated by Pusat Reaktor Serba Guna (PRSG). Operating, first critical in 1987.
It is the most powerful research reactor in Indonesia, of the 3 currently operating. It went critical 23 years after the first research reactor in Indonesia, TRIGA Mark II, Bandung (1964). It is one of 5 materials test reactors (MTR) operating worldwide, spread across 5 countries. Its declared uses include isotope production, neutron scattering, neutron radiography and transmutation.
